Our state-licensed day camp is a unique combination of traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, games, songs & skits, sports and enrichment activities. While our facility may be closed, we can still run our summer camp. We'll be following new guidelines in response to COVID-19 for your child's safety.

Referred to until now as PSD’s “new southeast elementary school,” Bamford Elementary is slated to open in fall 2021 and is the first PSD school to be located in the City of Loveland. It is one of three new schools under construction in PSD and funded through the 2016 voter-approved bond. Bamford is the first school to be named in PSD since 2008, when Bethke Elementary School opened in Timnath."

Blevins Middle School, a neighborhood school, is named for Theodore Roosevelt Blevins, a long-time educator, coach, and WWI Silver Star recipient. Opened in 1968, Blevins focuses on the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students. A character education curriculum, along with the 6-P’s, promote the safety, respect and dignity of every student.

Just before Boltz was to open in the fall of 1972, a fire burned down most of the school. Determined crews immediately set about rebuilding the structure from the ashes up, and the school opened January 29, 1973. The Phoenix mascot embodies the renewal of the school after this event and serves as a proud symbol of our school today. We encourage our students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. Boltz is a place where respect, rigor, relevance, responsibility, and relationships drive learning. Our staff members provide a nurturing, safe environment founded on a culture of respect and understanding with a commitment to the academic, physical, social, and emotional growth of students.

Dunn Elementary School is named after A. H. Dunn, principal and superintendent of Fort Collins Public Schools from 1893-1930. The Dunn Elementary student body includes international students from nearly 30 nations as well as children from the local community.

Eyestone Elementary School is named in honor of former teacher, principal, superintendent and past mayor of Wellington, Robert E. Eyestone. At Eyestone Elementary every staff member is a role model for students with a focus on continuous learning within a warm, caring family environment.

We are the best camp and after-school program in Fort Collins dedicated to helping kids stay active, make friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Our programs blend movement, teamwork, and play to create experiences kids enjoy!

We service six local elementary schools, including transportation to our program, with supervised games and physical activities for elementary-aged children (K–5). Activities are led by trained, background-checked staff who prioritize safety, encouragement, and inclusivity.

We also provide Day Camps and Seasonal Camps on days when PSD, Liberty Commons, and Ridgeview Classical Schools are closed. We also offer Summer Camp with fun weekly themes! Camps run Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., featuring active play, arts and crafts, and many other activities!

LEED certified Fossil Ridge High School (FRHS), opened in 2004, is named for the low ridge to the west of Fort Collins. Based in Fort Collins, NOCO Wildlife Center is a non-profit dedicated to the care, rehabilitation, and protection of northern Colorado’s wildlife. We serve as a crucial link between wild animals in need and the human communities that share their environment.

As a Core Knowledge school, O’Dea promotes a common and coherent learning foundation among its diverse student population that is designed to enhance students’ higher-order thinking skills.

"Olander School, opened in 1990, is named for retired teachers Emil and Eleanor Olander. Olander was the first elementary school in Colorado to offer Project-Based Learning (PBL), starting in 2009.

Playcrafter Kids’ is a performing arts organization geared towards kids ages 3-12 and their families. Young performers explore the creative arts through ACTivities that activate imagination, wonder, creativity, and curiosity. These ACTivities promote life skills such as confidence, emotional regulation, self awareness, teamwork and collaboration. Programs include summer camps, day camps, licensed preschool, afterschool programs, preschool enrichment, community events, and original musicals.

Polaris is the only school within PSD to offer the Expeditionary Learning model. Our K-12 learning community strives to create the ideal environment for development, experiential curriculum, critical life skills, and community connections for students of every background. Colorado standards are utilized to design in depth studies of compelling topics over an extended period of time, also known as Expeditions. At Polaris, the Expeditionary Learning approach creates life-long learners who can think critically, solve problems creatively, and adapt successfully to an ever changing world.

Located in the historic Mountain View building, Poudre Community Academy (PCA) is a small, supportive, closed campus environment. Students at PCA attend a regular school day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesdays students give back to the community by participating in a variety of service learning activities in and around Fort Collins. PCA honors quarterly graduates and celebrates a full graduation ceremony in May.

Poudre High School (PHS) opened in 1964, is the second oldest comprehensive high school in Poudre School District, offering more than 250 class offerings. PHS encourages, supports, and prepares students for opportunities and success in AP course work, International Baccalaureate classes, and concurrent enrollment in Colorado State University and Front Range Community College. PHS is one of two local high schools endorsed by the Higher Learning Commission as an “Additional Site for Front Range Community College,” meaning we can offer more FRCC courses on-campus than non-accredited high schools.

Preston Middle School, opened in 1994, is named for early settler Ben Preston and family. The school belief is that it takes a partnership between staff, parents, students, and community to create a quality learning environment.

"Red Feather Elementary School, located 48 miles northwest of Fort Collins, was originally a two-room schoolhouse. The current Red Feather Lakes Elementary School, built in 1985, offers a multi-graded learning environment. As one of three PSD mountain schools, Red Feather Lakes students have many outdoor as well as classroom learning opportunities.

Rocky Mountain High School (RMHS) opened in 1973, is focused on excellence in academic and extracurricular endeavors. Rocky Mountain has developed a tradition of being on the cutting edge of educational reform by guiding and supporting the educational community to reach its maximum potential in a safe, caring environment.

Saint Joseph Catholic School is one of 37 private Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools. It offers an environment where students in preschool through eighth grade can achieve academic excellence in a school community steeped in Catholic morals and values.

Shepardson Elementary School, opened in 1978, was named for educator Margaret Shepardson. Shepardson believes in adjusting learning activities to address individual learning needs, styles, and interests.

The philosophy at St. Luke's Preschool is to provide a loving atmosphere that nurtures the development of a positive sense of self in each child. The staff members help the children gain self-confidence in all areas of development - social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual - through a variety of exploring, discovering, and fun activities.

STEM-X is a PSD summer program offering week-long classes on high-interest topics for students entering grades 1-8. It will run from June 6-17, 2022 this year. All students (including non-PSD) are welcome to apply to the program and if they are admitted can choose whether they will attend for one or two weeks, and for mornings, afternoons, or full-days.

"Opened in 1896, Stove Prairie School is the oldest operating “one-room” school in Colorado. Stove Prairie joined PSD in 1960. Now one of the three mountain schools, this little school “at the end of the rainbow” offers a multi-grade learning environment. Kindergarten classes are full day and tuition free. Preschool is available on site for children ages 3-4 up to three days per week.

"Tavelli Elementary School, is a S.T.E.A.M. (Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) focus school. The school's goal is to prepare students to be 21st century learners. High-quality teaching staff and strong collaborative teams foster a learning environment rich in meaningful, real life and hands-on activities. PBIS, health, nutrition and fitness are programs used to support academics.

Teaching Tree is a not-for-profit pre-school offering full and part-time spots.  Teaching Tree offers a sliding fee scale, Creative Curriculum, and nutritious meals.

STEM:  Our STEM-based curriculum uses a hands-on, systematic approach to teach science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics while developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.  Our curriculum is based on research that proves children learn best through repetition and practice.  Therefore, math, science, and language concepts are reintroduced every six weeks as students continually build upon prior knowledge.

"Timnath Elementary School is proud of its history of educating diverse student populations over the past 115 years. Timnath uses a Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) approach in our learning culture. Timnath is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)-focused school that emphasizes 21st century skills. The Timnath school community enjoys annual and seasonal traditions and has an active PTO.

"Traut Core Knowledge School (TCKS) opened in September 1993 and is named for Lena and Evelyn Traut, who taught in Poudre School District for a combined 82 years. TCKS believes the best way to teach reading, writing, and thinking is in the context of a rich, knowledge-based curriculum.

We offer Spanish lessons from preschoolers to adults. We have small and big groups, private classes, Spanish for preschools, enrichment program before and after school, Spanish for Adults, Spanish literacy for Hispanic children and more.

Webber Middle School, opened in 1990, is named for Don Webber, former PSD teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent. Throughout the school community, 6 Ps are emphasized: Prompt, Polite, Positive, Productive, Persistent, and Proud.

Wellington Middle School opened in 1964, after serving as Wellington High School. Wellington strives to be a safe, nurturing school where self-confidence, self-worth, achievement, and initiative are promoted and celebrated!

"Werner Elementary School, opened in 1987, is named after Gail Werner, long-time PSD teacher and principal. The school’s unique design won national awards and served as the model for several other PSD elementary schools. Lifelong learning is enhanced through a developmentally based academic program. The Werner community is dedicated to the social, emotional, physical, and academic growth of children.

We offer several different options for young climbers, based on their age, experience, and competitive spirit. If your young one is brand new to the wild world of climbing, start with a day camp or prep school. If they show an interest in climbing (and we're pretty sure they will!) they can join our after school recreational team or level up to Team Whetstone, our competitive climbing team.
