"Play is at the core of Playcrafter Kids Preschool. Each day is an invitation to the inquisitive child to explore, imagine, create, and learn more about the world and who they are in it. By exposing the children to a variety of performing and visual arts and skills, the children tap into their innate creative selves while exploring a variety of topics, emotions, and scenarios.

We kindly blend the philosophies of Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio to bring our children a balanced program that is individualized with real world application. Social emotional skills are infused naturally and with intention to connect, communicate and bring awareness to self and others.

Playcrafter Kids Preschool is an in-home licensed preschool led by Deanna Mae, an elementary/early childhood educator and local performer with over 14 years of experience.

Other programs include summer camps, workshops, original shows, parties and more!"

Business Review

"I cannot say enough about our positive experience with Playcrafter Kids summer camps, birthday parties, and preschool. Deanna combines her knowledge of theatre, art, and education in a playful way that keeps kids engaged and learning. She focuses on emotional intelligence and self expression. Most importantly, she values every single child and respects them as individual growing humans.

Our 5 year old gained confidence and everything from public speaking skills to yoga and life-long skills for being healthy emotionally and physically. She came home energized every day and was full of positive messages. Deanna Mae creates a loving, supportive and healthy environment but also the quality of teaching is exceptional; both Deanna and the other specialists (yoga, music, etc.) that she brought on board. What a creative program! We loved the age range of participants and we were BLOWN AWAY at the quality of the performance and the skills the students displayed. How did they learn all that in only 1 week?! I was amazed that all those kids were in-synch and on-point! She is a magician.
