Playcrafter Kids is a performing arts program that serves kids ages 3-12 in and around Fort Collins. We offer a licensed preschool, week-long summer camps, enrichment classes for preschools & daycares, after-school programming, original musicals, parties, and more! We infuse the arts into each program with plenty of opportunities to play, create, perform, and foster skills to last a lifetime.
Play is at the core of Playcrafter Kids Preschool. Each day is an invitation to the inquisitive child to explore, imagine, create, and learn more about the world and who they are in it. By exposing the children to a variety of performing and visual arts and skills, the children tap into their innate creative selves while exploring a variety of topics, emotions, and scenarios. Playcrafter Kids Preschool is currently an in-home licensed preschool led by Deanna Mae, an elementary/early childhood educator and local performer with over 15 years of experience.
After-school programs include classes and staged productions held in the Fall and Spring. “The Butterfly Brigade” and “Dance to the Moon” are our two original musicals that we love sharing with our community. We, also, love doing parties!

We LOVE Playcrafter Kids!!!!! Our kids have participated in preschool and summer camps with Deanna and are absolutely obsessed! Deanna and her staff get to know each student individually and meet each student where they are at. We love the small class sizes and play-based learning environment. My oldest has some sensory and emotional regulation difficulties and Deanna was nothing but compassionate, understanding, and supportive in meeting his needs. Playcrafter Kids outshines other options in Northern Colorado (and there are many) for our family as our child is seen, challenged and grown so profoundly in this enthusiastic and creative community. We arrived imagining that this would be ""fun"", and it is that with so much more. The professionalism and craft of Deanna & her team are of highest grade and in addition they are amazing at seeing every individual child and empowering them to be their most confident and genuine versions of themselves. My child started off by dabbling in it, and now always wants to go back. They create an environment where there is camaraderie and belonging for all. This is a place where kids create incredible productions but is further about the formation of the individual and the gifts they bring to the collective.
