3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO Read MoreA summer camp for children facing pediatric cancer and their siblings. Offered at no cost to their families.
The inspiration for Wapiyapi came from University of Colorado medical students in the early 1990s who believed every child deserves an unforgettable camp experience. Seeing how childhood cancer steals a child’s sense of normalcy, they created a free summer camp that provides respite and an additional circle from which families may draw the strength for continued healing. Kids can let go of cancer and ‘just be kids’ – laughing and playing with others who cherish them just as they are.

It is most properly understood and practiced as an approach and not a curriculum. Orton-Gillingham is an instructional approach that has been scientifically proven to be effective for ALL students, and necessary for students with dyslexia.
Fort Collins, CO Read More"We believe in teaching kids and teens as young adults and provide straight-forward instruction without talking down to them. Our Chef Instructors are skilled in baking and cooking as well as love working with kids and teens. We cook and bake everything from scratch.
This summer we've organized cooking camps as a 2-day (am or pm) experience that can be combined with another 2-day camp, or your child can come to just one camp. This opens more spots, keeps the price low & helps kids who are new to cooking from scratch to come and decide if it's for them. "
