we at NOCO Virtual Farmers Market are thinking of the members of our community,
which is why we are also reaching out to you…
Would you consider donating a food box to a local family in need?
We already have several families who have requested a food box be delivered to them and because of this, we reaching out to you to see if you would like to help as you can purchase a donation box for our list of recipients or have us deliver a donation box to someone of your choice.
Why would I want to do this? This program is designed to feed an individual, or any sized family who may be in need. A person or family who may be struggling to put food on their table during these strange and unpredictable times.
Maybe you know of someone who has lost their job, is suffering from a medical condition, is sick and can’t work or leave the house, is elderly and unable to go out to shop for groceries. Maybe your recipient is a struggling single mom or a family who is faced with hardship. No matter who, we ask that you please purchase a donation food box in their name and we will deliver to their home at no extra charge.
Don’t have a family in mind, but still want to help? If you don’t have a family in mind… please don’t worry, we already have a list of approximately six community members who are in high need and we will deliver your donation box to them and let you know when it gets completed. (If you would like us to mention that you are the donor, let us know and we will include your name in the box with a beautiful handmade card).
How exactly does it work? Each week when you place your order, you may add a donation box of your choice and we will fill it with food or any other product up to the amount of the purchase. We, here at NOCOVFM, will add something extra to top off your box and we will deliver the box free of charge as our way of giving back as well.
You may purchase boxes starting at $25.00, $50.00, $75.00 and $100.00. You may purchase more than one box and have them sent to more than one individual or family all within your order. How does the checkout process work? When you go to check out, please fill out the message section telling us the address where you want your box delivered and we will deliver the box to the recipient of your choice for free. You may also add any special requests or comments on dietary needs. You may also mention any special product you would like added to your order within the price range you chose.
What about my own order? Your own order will still incur a delivery fee and we will deliver your order to your home. If you want the donation box or boxes delivered to your home and not to the recipient, then leave us a message indicating you want the donation box delivered to your home and we will deliver it along with your order at no extra charge.
Want to only purchase a donation box with no other order? Let us know and we will deliver it for you free of charge.
Exactly how do you fulfill my donation box? We choose the food for the boxes, from the various vendors on our platform, but if there is something in particular that you want in your box, please let us know and we will certainly add it as long as it is within the price range of the box you chose.
