Camp FunQuest is the City of Fort Collins- Recreation Department's licensed summer day camp program for children entering grade 1 through completion of grade 5. Camp locations are at the Northside Aztlan Community Center and Foothills Activity Center. Camp groups are separated by age and all activities are planned with children’s developmental stage, abilities, and interests in mind. Camp themes guide activity planning with a general daily structure that repeats weekly. Typical camp activities such as songs, games, crafts, science, and sports are coupled with guest visitors, trips to outdoor parks, swimming, and an introduction to a variety of recreational activities. Cost of weekly field trips are included in camp fees for all age groups. Families must provide a peanut-free sack lunch, two healthy snacks, a water bottle, and appropriate clothing/gear for outdoor play each day. Note: Full camp itineraries are emailed the week prior to program start dates. Camps run Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. during the weeks listed below, unless otherwise noted.

Teen camp options for children entering grade 7 through completion of grade 8 is available under the Black Bear Teen Camp registration. This camp operates Monday - Friday from 9a.m. - 4p.m. Black Bear Teen Camp is held at Mulberry Pool.

Weekly Enrollments, Deposits & Cancellations
A minimum deposit of $40/week per child is due at the time of enrollment. Remaining fees for camp weeks will be due by monthly designated due dates:
-June camp weeks due March 1
-July camp weeks due April 1
-August camp weeks due May 1
Camp week transfers can be made without penalty dependent on availability. Cancellation requests can be submitted by emailing your child’s camp director and follow the policy outlined below:
-Cancellations made 10+ business days prior to the start of the camp week = FULL Refund
-Cancellations made 5-9 business days prior to the start of the camp week = 50% Refund
-Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of the camp week = NO refund

Camp groups are separated by age and all activities are planned with the children’s developmental stage, abilities, and interests in mind! Camp themes guide activity planning, and each week includes swimming, trips to local parks and an off-site field trip!

Marmot- Ages 5-6 (MUST have completed Kindergarten in May 2024)

Red Fox- Ages 7-8

Big Horn- Ages 9-11

Black Bear- Ages 12-15

$270-5day; $216-4day; $108-2day

Funtime Adventures

Funtime Adventures is the licensed preschool-age summer day camp with the City of Fort Collins- Recreation Department. Designed for younger campers new to the summer camp experience, Funtime Adventures provides half-day (morning only) or full-day options for families! Campers must be 4-5 years old and is intended for those who have not yet completed kindergarten. Themed activities, special guests, walking trips park play and shared lunch time make up the morning-only session. Full-day options include even more of what Recreation has to offer including art, dance, music, science and cooking enrichments.

Half-day (morning only): 7:30am-12:30pm

Full-day: 7:30am-5:30pm 

Morning drop-off occurs between 7:30-9:00am

Half-day pick-up occurs between 12:15-12:30pm

Full-day pick-up occurs between 4:00-5:30pm.

Camp is offered at the Northside Aztlan Community Center only.
