Courtesy, self-control, integrity, perseverance, indomitable spirit: The Five Tenets of Taekwondo are the foundation for our traditional taekwondo and practical self-defense lessons.
Little Warriors Pre-Taekwondo (ages 5-8): Two 30 minute classes per week introduce basic skills in a fun and supportive environment. The culture, expectations and etiquette of traditional martial arts are introduced at an age-appropriate level. Students develop enhanced self-esteem, impulse control, and physical coordination. Black belt instructors are parents or Red Cross certified babysitters.
Dragon Warrior (age 8-12) and Teen/Adult classes are 60 minutes long. Traditional, structured classes develop focus, self-confidence and fitness in a spirit of teamwork. Taekwondo techniques are taught to World Taekwondo (Olympic) standards and all OMS Colorado instructors are World Taekwondo certified black belts."
Due to COVID-19 guidelines that are ever changing we offer Zoom classes and will open to in person as it allows.
