Mammals (and more!) Monday
Campers will encounter and discover animals of all kinds from creepy crawlies, wet and slimy, to soft and furry, too. From identifying animals to observing them in their habitats, campers will get a new understanding of the amazing creatures we share this planet with.
Time Travel Tuesday
Let’s go back in time! The campers will get to know the unique history of Fort Collins through a variety of hands-on and interactive activities. Plus, they will get a behind-the-scenes look into the Museum’s Archive and Collections which houses thousands of historic objects.
Wednesday Wind-Down
Today, campers will get to undergo the mid-week hump through restorative techniques like yoga, exercise, meditation, and more. It’s all about resetting and connection because mental health matters!
Tech Thursday
Now that our campers have learned all about other areas of the Museum, they’ll take it a step further by connecting with technology, science, and STEAM-based activities. Campers will learn about important scientific topics like energy, engineering, and sound science, while inspiring inquisitive thinking.
Friday Favorites
On the final day of Museum Explorers Camp, it’s all about fun! We’ll be featuring the Museum’s “greatest hits,” like our Music & Sound Lab, Dome Shows, and make-your-own SLIME. Campers will share what they’ve learned and, together, pick out their favorite activity of the week to do one last time.
Our camps are for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
