Did You Know?
Recently, the Larimer County Department of Human Services has made the decision to freeze the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) funds, creating significant challenges for low-income families who rely on this assistance to access quality childcare services.
The CCAP program plays a vital role in supporting working families by providing financial assistance to cover childcare expenses. Currently, 80% of the families enrolled at El Nidito (at The Family Center) rely on financial assistance to cover the cost of childcare.
My family knows first-hand how valuable quality child care is, and how important it is that we can trust providers to help our children grow- so that we can work to provide for our family. Please help to support other families who also deserve quality care for their kids.
In response, BIG DEAL Company has joined the Growing Together Campaign to benefit El Nidito Scholarship Fund.
Macaroni Kid Fort Collins and Macaroni Kid Loveland are joining this campaign to help encourage individuals and teams to become advocates for the cause and collect donations from their circles.
The goal is to bridge the gap caused by the CCAP freeze in Larimer County, ensuring that children at El Nidito have access to uninterrupted, high-quality early education and care.
We need your help in ensuring the families affected by the CCAP freeze continue to have access to affordable childcare.
Every dollar raised through this campaign will directly support children in need, ensuring they continue to receive the care and education they deserve. By joining us, you're not just raising funds; you're raising hope and making a tangible difference in our community.
