The City of Loveland Parks & Recreation Department is excited to host

Kidchella: Music & Art Festival at Hammond Amphitheater at North Lake Park on

Saturday, September 23rd starting at 2:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m.

“We had such great feedback from our first Kidchella event last year and we plan to build on that foundation and excitement to make this year’s event even better." said Kerry Helke, Parks & Recreation’s Senior Recreation Coordinator. ”Magic Mannsz, the magician, had kids so engaged we thought they were going to rush the stage at one point.”

There will be five stage performances starting with an aerial performance by the Fort Collin Circus Center, an interactive dance party, a live magic show, a second circus performance and the final performance will be from Doctor Noize, whose energetic antics will inspire creativity, curiosity and character through music, art and words.

Other activities will include carnival games including adaptive games hosted by Awesome in Action, color your own t-shirt, a family dance workshop hosted by Anima Arts, the Loveland Public Library and The School Of Rock – Loveland will bring musical instruments for kids to play, there will be several vendors with art projects, the Parks & Recreation Mobile Recreation Trailer yard games, face painting and more.

Plus this year we will be hosting the Children’s Entrepreneur Market at the event.

These activities will take place on the lawn above the amphitheater from 2:00p.m. until 6:00p.m.

There will be Food Trucks, sweet treats, snacks and drinks at vendor booths throughout the event.
