Publishers Corner: Easter Ideas.

WELCOME TO PUBLISHER'S CORNER

Happy Spring!

What is your favorite part of spring? The holidays? Daylight savings? Seeing the world green up around you? Watching your kids enjoying the extended light and the Easter Bunny?

We have a few fun traditions. Both Easter related and Spring related. We decorate for spring and Easter at the beginning of the month. Mainly flowers both everblooming (fake), and real. Little Easter trimmings of baskets filled with little bunnies and little chicks from hobby stores.

For Easter we always hide eggs of various sizes everywhere throughout the house. We fill them with Easter Bunny gifts as well as some candy and trinkets. E.B. leaves a basket but he mainly leaves his gifts in the eggs hidden around. Our daughter looks forward to hunting eggs every year.

When Easter is over we just remove the Easter accents and leave up the Floral decorations and use them for birthday decorations since we have several birthdays in April too. We just add to the floral décor with the theme that fits the party.

Some of the cool gifts we've put into the eggs include fidget toys of all kinds. We have eggs of various sizes, some of which are HUGE. We usually put something special or many little things in it. It's also the Gold egg.

We've added real gold coins ($1), gold candy coins, gift cards, fidget toys, figurines, special candies, and so much more to the eggs. You can add anything to them you can imagine. We have even put some great homemade cupcakes and candies.
