MORNING FRESH DAIRY FARM AIMS TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR BETHEMATCH.ORG WITH HALLOWEEN EVENT

By Morning Fresh Dairy Farm October 20, 2019

When their 10-year-old daughter Laura was

diagnosed with leukemia, founder of Morning Fresh Dairy Farm and doctor, Robert

Graves and his wife Sherry were willing to try anything to save her life.

In 1979, they agreed to try the first ever bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor–and it

worked! Inspired to give other families hope, Dr. Graves along with other doctors,

families and funding from the U.S. Navy, created a national registry of bone marrow

donors now called BetheMatch.org . The Morning Fresh Dairy Farm is using the

theme “Moo-nster Match” for their Halloween event to encourage the community to

register with the website, as well as participate in all the festivities.

Moo-nster Match will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at

Morning Fresh Dairy Farm, located at 5821 W. County Rd 54E in Bellvue.

Attendees are invited to dress up in costume and enjoy trick or treating, a tour around the

dairy farm, yard games, milk samples, enter for a chance to win a bicycle, and of

course, register for BetheMatch.org .

Those interested in joining the Be the Match registry can also do so ahead of the

event on the website, BetheMatch.org . Joining the registry is a small step in helping

to save the life of a neighbor or loved one right in our community.
