We are lucky in Fort Collins to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Fort Collins parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new! friends), and they're FREE!
I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in Fort Collins.
Twin Silo Community Park
5552-5564 Ziegler Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528
What we love about Twin Silos:
Twin Silo Community Park is one of a kind, featuring community gardens, paved recreational trails, an orchard, a BMX park, pickleball courts, a dog park, original artwork designed specifically for the park, and a playground that includes the tallest slide in Fort Collins. The slide extends between two 48-foot tall farm silos that were relocated to Twin Silo Park from Prospect and Timberline Roads.
The design of the park was intricately planned to honor the agricultural heritage of the south side of Fort Collins. To learn more about the park, browse our resources below or visit the park at the intersection of Ketcher and Ziegler roads.

Sugar Beet Park
607 9th St. Fort Collins, CO 80524
What we love about Sugar Beet Park:
It's the coolest thing to climb on, in and around! We saw the sugar beet at the Museum of Discovery when it was first debuted to the public before it went to the park. It's an amazing sculpture and play structure. The park is dedicated to the sugar beet industry and features some fun structures along with this one.
