"The school is named to honor the memory of the late Gary Bamford, a long-time PSD principal and staff member.

Referred to until now as PSD’s “new southeast elementary school,” Bamford Elementary is slated to open in fall 2021 and is the first PSD school to be located in the City of Loveland. It is one of three new schools under construction in PSD and funded through the 2016 voter-approved bond. Bamford is the first school to be named in PSD since 2008, when Bethke Elementary School opened in Timnath."

"Bauder Elementary School is named after longtime PSD music teacher, Katharyn Bauder. The school’s mission is to provide students with challenging learning opportunities which lead them to become complex thinkers, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners.

Blevins Middle School, a neighborhood school, is named for Theodore Roosevelt Blevins, a long-time educator, coach, and WWI Silver Star recipient. Opened in 1968, Blevins focuses on the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students. A character education curriculum, along with the 6-P’s, promote the safety, respect and dignity of every student.

Just before Boltz was to open in the fall of 1972, a fire burned down most of the school. Determined crews immediately set about rebuilding the structure from the ashes up, and the school opened January 29, 1973. The Phoenix mascot embodies the renewal of the school after this event and serves as a proud symbol of our school today. We encourage our students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. Boltz is a place where respect, rigor, relevance, responsibility, and relationships drive learning. Our staff members provide a nurturing, safe environment founded on a culture of respect and understanding with a commitment to the academic, physical, social, and emotional growth of students.

Dunn Elementary School is named after A. H. Dunn, principal and superintendent of Fort Collins Public Schools from 1893-1930. The Dunn Elementary student body includes international students from nearly 30 nations as well as children from the local community.

Eyestone Elementary School is named in honor of former teacher, principal, superintendent and past mayor of Wellington, Robert E. Eyestone. At Eyestone Elementary every staff member is a role model for students with a focus on continuous learning within a warm, caring family environment.

Co-op Preschool has provided a nurturing, developmentally appropriate and play based preschool program to the children of the Fort Collins region since 1965.  It is our belief that children explore, create, discover and learn about their world through play.

We are the best camp and after-school program in Fort Collins dedicated to helping kids stay active, make friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Our programs blend movement, teamwork, and play to create experiences kids enjoy!

We service six local elementary schools, including transportation to our program, with supervised games and physical activities for elementary-aged children (K–5). Activities are led by trained, background-checked staff who prioritize safety, encouragement, and inclusivity.

We also provide Day Camps and Seasonal Camps on days when PSD, Liberty Commons, and Ridgeview Classical Schools are closed. We also offer Summer Camp with fun weekly themes! Camps run Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., featuring active play, arts and crafts, and many other activities!

As a local program, we proudly support our community through school partnerships, donations, and volunteer service.

Since 1997, Our Saviour's Lutheran Preschool has been educating young children in Fort Collins. At OSLP we welcome children and families of all backgrounds and beliefs. Our program is designed to meet the intellectual, social, physical and spiritual needs of our students through a play-based curriculum, allowing children to learn and grow in a loving environment. We teach to Colorado state standards, and challenge each student to grow in knowledge in leaps and bounds!

OSLP offers a class for younger children (2 1/2 years-4) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-noon, and two pre-k options for 4 and 5 year olds on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We participate in Colorado UPK.

Our focus is to provide nurturing, stimulating, educational experiences that promote each child's social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our highly qualified staff provides support and encouragement, allowing our program to serve as a model of childcare excellence.

Due to COVID-19 Play-Well TEKnologies offer LEGO-inspired STEM summer camps for children ages 5 - 12. We teach through play, every day.

Polaris is the only school within PSD to offer the Expeditionary Learning model. Our K-12 learning community strives to create the ideal environment for development, experiential curriculum, critical life skills, and community connections for students of every background. Colorado standards are utilized to design in depth studies of compelling topics over an extended period of time, also known as Expeditions. At Polaris, the Expeditionary Learning approach creates life-long learners who can think critically, solve problems creatively, and adapt successfully to an ever changing world.

Located in the historic Mountain View building, Poudre Community Academy (PCA) is a small, supportive, closed campus environment. Students at PCA attend a regular school day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesdays students give back to the community by participating in a variety of service learning activities in and around Fort Collins. PCA honors quarterly graduates and celebrates a full graduation ceremony in May.

Poudre High School (PHS) opened in 1964, is the second oldest comprehensive high school in Poudre School District, offering more than 250 class offerings. PHS encourages, supports, and prepares students for opportunities and success in AP course work, International Baccalaureate classes, and concurrent enrollment in Colorado State University and Front Range Community College. PHS is one of two local high schools endorsed by the Higher Learning Commission as an “Additional Site for Front Range Community College,” meaning we can offer more FRCC courses on-campus than non-accredited high schools.

Preston Middle School, opened in 1994, is named for early settler Ben Preston and family. The school belief is that it takes a partnership between staff, parents, students, and community to create a quality learning environment.

"Red Feather Elementary School, located 48 miles northwest of Fort Collins, was originally a two-room schoolhouse. The current Red Feather Lakes Elementary School, built in 1985, offers a multi-graded learning environment. As one of three PSD mountain schools, Red Feather Lakes students have many outdoor as well as classroom learning opportunities.

Since 1976, Rivendell School has proudly helped hundreds of children begin the journey of realizing their personal potential and becoming well-educated, imaginative, responsible, and contributing citizens.

We offer a unique, individualized program that helps develop the whole child. Rivendell has an academic preschool, as well as a kindergarten/elementary school offering pre-K through fifth grades.

River Song is a non-profit Waldorf preschool that offers a developmentally appropriate early learning program honoring and preserving the magic of childhood.

Rocky Mountain High School (RMHS) opened in 1973, is focused on excellence in academic and extracurricular endeavors. Rocky Mountain has developed a tradition of being on the cutting edge of educational reform by guiding and supporting the educational community to reach its maximum potential in a safe, caring environment.

STEM-X is a PSD summer program offering week-long classes on high-interest topics for students entering grades 1-8. It will run from June 6-17, 2022 this year. All students (including non-PSD) are welcome to apply to the program and if they are admitted can choose whether they will attend for one or two weeks, and for mornings, afternoons, or full-days.

Saint Joseph Catholic School is one of 37 private Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools. It offers an environment where students in preschool through eighth grade can achieve academic excellence in a school community steeped in Catholic morals and values.

Shepardson Elementary School, opened in 1978, was named for educator Margaret Shepardson. Shepardson believes in adjusting learning activities to address individual learning needs, styles, and interests.

Classes for ages 3-6 Small Oaks is a Developmentally Appropriate nurturing environment. Our convenient location makes Small Oaks a great choice for families Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Johnstown, Wellington, and Greeley. Check us out today! We offer a 3-4's class, 4-5's class, and new for 2018-2019 a Jr. Kindergarten Class.  Small Oaks preschool implements a faith based curriculum, which offers a sound biblical base to grow on while preparing your child for kindergarten.

Small Oaks is a part time Christian preschool open from 9-12 M-F. We closely follow the Poudre school district calendar.

The philosophy at St. Luke's Preschool is to provide a loving atmosphere that nurtures the development of a positive sense of self in each child. The staff members help the children gain self-confidence in all areas of development - social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual - through a variety of exploring, discovering, and fun activities.

"Opened in 1896, Stove Prairie School is the oldest operating “one-room” school in Colorado. Stove Prairie joined PSD in 1960. Now one of the three mountain schools, this little school “at the end of the rainbow” offers a multi-grade learning environment. Kindergarten classes are full day and tuition free. Preschool is available on site for children ages 3-4 up to three days per week.

Therapeutic Melodies has a passion to enrich lives through music. We’ve seen the research supporting that early exposure to music making can enhance learning, strengthen motor skills, and improve socialization. We care about what we do and we care about each child’s future.

We also offer 1x1 Music Together within Therapy sessions for children 0-5 with developmental disabilities. In these sessions we address the specific needs of individuals with illness, disabilities, and developmental needs using the Music Together program.

"Timnath Elementary School is proud of its history of educating diverse student populations over the past 115 years. Timnath uses a Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) approach in our learning culture. Timnath is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)-focused school that emphasizes 21st century skills. "Traut Core Knowledge School (TCKS) opened in September 1993 and is named for Lena and Evelyn Traut, who taught in Poudre School District for a combined 82 years. TCKS believes the best way to teach reading, writing, and thinking is in the context of a rich, knowledge-based curriculum.

Union Spiritual Community is a welcoming, inclusive spiritual community for people of all ages and backgrounds, with intentional space for children and families to belong.

Union brings together people seeking connection, meaning, and shared values in a low-pressure, non-judgmental environment. Many participants come from diverse or mixed faith backgrounds or are exploring spirituality outside traditional church settings. Union leads with belonging before believing and centers on community, conversation, and lived-out values rather than rigid beliefs.

Children and families are an important part of Union’s life.

Union Kids meets every Monday from 4:30–6:30pm and offers engaging, age-appropriate programming where children learn through play, stories, music, art, and movement. Programming focuses on values like kindness, empathy, gratitude, curiosity, and emotional awareness. Children are welcomed fully, known by name, and encouraged to explore big ideas in ways that fit their age and stage.

Dinner and fun activities are provided, making it easy for families to come straight from school or work and connect with others. Participation is donation-based, with no set cost, so families can give what they are able.

Union also offers family-friendly gatherings, small groups for adults, and seasonal community events that welcome all ages. The environment is flexible and realistic. Strollers, snacks, noise, and movement are expected and embraced.

Union is rooted in Christian tradition while remaining open, inclusive, and respectful of all backgrounds. We focus on how spirituality is lived out in everyday life, especially in relationships, family life, and caring for one another.

We offer Spanish lessons from preschoolers to adults. We have small and big groups, private classes, Spanish for preschools, enrichment program before and after school, Spanish for Adults, Spanish literacy for Hispanic children and more.

Webber Middle School, opened in 1990, is named for Don Webber, former PSD teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent. Throughout the school community, 6 Ps are emphasized: Prompt, Polite, Positive, Productive, Persistent, and Proud.

The school’s unique design won national awards and served as the model for several other PSD elementary schools. Lifelong learning is enhanced through a developmentally based academic program. The Werner community is dedicated to the social, emotional, physical, and academic growth of children.

The Wildflower Wonders Preschool in Fort Collins, CO offers a wide range of high quality curriculum and hands-on activities that blend Montessori and Reggio-Inspired techniques with a student-centered emergent curriculum serving children aged 2-5.
