Alisa Richter earned a Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy from Colorado State University. She completed her clinical internship at Northern Oklahoma Resource Center in Enid, OK working with teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Alisa has extensive experience in the area of early childhood intervention gained at the Tennessee Early Intervention System as well as in her own private practice in Northern Colorado. Over the years, she has pursued training in early childhood music education and has over 10 years of experience providing parent-child music classes to the Northern Colorado community. She is a licensed and certified Musikgarten teacher. Utilizing her training in music therapy, child development and early childhood music education, Alisa creates a fun, developmentally appropriate music learning environment that involves the whole child - the listening ear, the moving body, the singing, talking voice, and the creative, inquisitive mind. Alisa is passionate about sharing the joy of musical play and being a part not only imparting a love of music but also giving parents tools to enrich their child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual development, allowing music to be a magic key that unlocks a world of possibilities for children of all ages and abilities.
Various Locations, CO Read MoreSTEM-X is a PSD summer program offering week-long classes on high-interest topics for students entering grades 1-8. It will run from June 6-17, 2022 this year. All students (including non-PSD) are welcome to apply to the program and if they are admitted can choose whether they will attend for one or two weeks, and for mornings, afternoons, or full-days.
