YMCA Camp Noco allows campers to unplug, enjoy hands-on learning, try new activities, learn new skills and make new friends. Activities include camp songs, hiking and nature activities, archery, gaga ball, sports and games, Color Wars, STEM, arts, and much more. This is a nature-based, outdoor-education camp where kids make friends through adventure, challenge and exploration. Campers swim, learn archery and go hiking as well as explore the natural land of Colorado. This camp will help children efficiently and mindfully move through the outdoors by learning important navigation skills and practicing Leave No Trace principles. CCAP accepted. This summer, the Y is offering STEAMrollers morning and afternoon programs that help children build their confidence — while having fun and discovering their talents. The fundamental skills of our foundational sports like soccer and basketball will be reinforced through classic camp and playground games. Mornings will be dedicated to learning skills and strategies, and afternoons will bring the traditional summer fun your campers crave with swimming, camp games and fun-filled scrimmages. Y Riders Cycling Camps have taught local kids and teens to ride successfully and safely for more than 25 years, taking them from training wheels to trails. Children learn how to ride a two-wheeler in Learn-to-Bike Camp and build their skills in Y Riders Basic Skills. Junior Y Riders gives campers the skills to feel confident on the road, path or mountain. Financial assistance available.

During the Y’s new Thrill Seekers Camp, adventure-loving campers will enjoy exciting, adrenaline-pumping activities each week. Kids will tackle obstacle courses and daily challenges to help them build their knowledge and skills around teamwork, competition and adventure. YMCA Camp Santa Maria offers a classic overnight camp experience with a focus on inclusion and community. Campers, ages 6 to 17, can kayak, paddleboard, swim, enjoy crafts, learn archery, hike and explore, build gnome homes and learn outdoor skills. But the fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down. Evenings at camp are spent playing games, performing skits and singing songs by the campfire. Kids learn independence, challenge their own limitations and connect with the natural world.
