The Masks Are BACK! The 22nd Annual Masks Fundraiser and
Exhibition begins April 3rd and runs through June 5th 2026.
There's a VIP reception on Thursday April 2nd from 4-8pm.
Over the past 22 years over 4,000 masks have been donated from mostly Northern Colorado artists. Artists receive unadorned ceramic forms which they turn into masterpieces inspired by the Museum's yearly themes. Both professional creative artists and recreational artists contribute to the Mask collection, expressing their style, creativity and love of the museum with their donations.
The past 22 years Artists and long time supporters have supported the museum's mission to make this creative community event and enormous success. This year's goal is $75,000 combining the new online sales with in person sales. The 247 creative Masks have always been intriguing and promise to be just as alluring this year. Proceeds from Masks go to support the core exhibitions and educational programs of the museum.
“The 22nd Annual Masks Fundraiser & Exhibition brings the community together through creativity and art with the majority of Masks participants being non artists and utilizing their creativity to help the museum thrive,” Lisa Hatchadoorian, Executive Director of at MoA, says. “The annual exhibition is a community favorite that over the past 22 years has raised more than $2.2 million to support the museum’s mission through our exhibitions and programs.”
“The annual Masks Fundraiser & Exhibition is so community-focused,” says Hatchadoorian. “People love seeing the diversity of the masks designed and donated by professional artists, who make their living through art, and community artists who explore their creative side through a dizzying array of materials, themes, and styles.”
