Publisher's Note: Do You Feel Like A Super Hero?

By Melissa Shrader Editor Publisher Fort Collins Macaroni Kid February 6, 2023

Welcome!

I have to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the Preschool Fair on the 28th of January! We had a wonderful time and I am thankful to you for making it a success!

I hope you spread the word and share the opportunity to speak directly to Preschools and Community resources face to face.

We have such a wonderful community and I love sharing everything that's available to help make families lives better, easier, successful, and more FUN!

Something to think about this week:

Do you feel like a superhero?

Well, you should!

Everyday you get up

Get everyone in the house going

Get everyone to school

Get everyone to get along

Get everyone to eat everything

Get everyone to brush hair, teeth

Get everyone to bed

Get up and do it again.

No matter if these things go off perfectly or more realistically they happen with the usual resistance.

You give every moment of every day with all your heart.

You love unconditionally

You care passionately

You are present

Remember this:

Everything you do shows your children you love them.

Especially when you are not perfect. You show them they don't have to be perfect, they just have to try, to show up, to be kind, to be persistent, to be empathetic. Most importantly - to be themselves.

Let's face it. Some days it's a real challenge to just get up in the morning let alone be a role model.

You do it with with grace and strength.

You are perfect the way you are.

That's what makes you a superhero

Your children see you as a superhero

Remember this when the day is long and things aren't working out,

you want to just scream or give up.

You Don't Have To Be Perfect To Be A Super Hero

You Just Have To Show Your Kids Love

That's your superpower.

You wear it well.

You are a superhero
