Our non-profit organization is rooted in a deep respect for the wildlife that shares our environment and a passionate commitment to their care, recovery, and protection. Operating in northern Colorado -out of Fort Collins- we serve as a vital resource for the region’s wild animals and the human communities that interact with them. Our mission is threefold:
Rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, and when successful, release those animals back into their natural habitats.
Educate the public about the natural histories of wildlife native to northern Colorado, ways to peacefully coexist with them, and provide humane solutions to human-wildlife conflicts.
Advocate for the preservation and restoration of native ecosystems that provide wildlife with the habitats they need to live and thrive.
We offer two types of educational programming: presentations and outreach booths. You can find out more information about these programs on our website: https://www.nocowildlife.org/education-programs
We also now offer Wild Parties! Your child can have their birthday party at our wildlife center. There are 3 packages available for purchase, each including an encounter with an animal ambassador. More information about our birthday party offerings can be found here: https://www.nocowildlife.org/wild-birthday-parties
Lastly, be sure to keep an eye out for our upcoming events: https://www.nocowildlife.org/events

Business Review
"I was so impressed by this facility and it’s staff at a recent visit. They are really doing a nice job caring for the animals trusted to them and educating the public. Bravo!"
"I have had a very good experience when contacting the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center both times. They are very friendly and professional on the phone. They also act quickly when there is a need for that. I like how they educate a person while speaking of a particular animal. I think we are fortunate to have them here in Ft. Collins and all the areas they work in!!"
