Where To Find The Best Holiday Lights Around. Updated.

Looking for some spectacular houses decorated in the Christmas Spirit?Check out the following displays in Fort Collins.

1 - Garden of Lights at The Gardens on Spring Creek - Every year they light up the garden wonderfully! This year is no exception with a lit pond, with lit fish, hundreds of flowers in every color of the rainbow and more, and a corn field. Garden of lights is located at Gardens on Spring Creek 2145 Centre Ave Fort Collins. Hours are nightly from December 4th - January 4th from 5-9.
2 - Downtown Fort Collins is glistening with thousands of lights to brighten Old Town Square, Walnut Ave, Linden St, Oak St Plaza, Mountain Ave and college Ave.  They will stay up through Valentines day.
3 - Brewery Lights at Anheuser-Busch is a favorite!  There is a lit Christmas Tree maze, roasting of s'mores at a fire pit, hot chocolate, a holiday buffet, and tons of fun for the whole family! The lights are glistening from just after Thanksgiving through January 3rd at the Anheuser-Busch Tour Center and Biergarten.  Hours are from dusk till 10pm.
4 - Woodward on 1000 E. Drake Road between Stover and Lemay has been a tradition for several families for as long as I can remember.  Tune your radio to 92.7 and turn off your lights and drive through.  You can see the nativity scene, a beautiful church, carolers, and Santa's workshop, while listening to Christmas music.  Hours are 6-10pm throughout December.
5 - Horsetooth & Ziegler Residence is the most impressive private home display in Fort Collins that a subscriber submitted for us to view. Every year dozens of inflatables are set between two homes at 3220 and 3226 Michelle Lane south of Horsetooth off Ziegler in Fort Collins, See Santa on a motorcycle, a penguin on an igloo, an inflatable camping trailer, a number of blow up snowmen and thousands of lights. The display is up from Thanksgiving through the first week in January from 5-11pm. 
6- Lights for Habitat is 50 thousand lights synced to music at a private residence at 321 & 325 Albion Way in Fort Collins. Runs from 5-9pm (10pm on weekends and on the holidays). They accept donations which are given to Habitat for Humanity.  when you get tot he house turn you radio to 89.1 and watch the lights dance to the music.  Place donations in the mailbox near the driveway.
7- Mills Eastwood Light Show 2318 Eastwood Dr Fort Collins includes a Christmas card, ornament and gift drive, which will benefit a child from the community in need of a little extra cheer this holiday season (nominations for the child are being accepted until Dec.1 via private messages to the light show's Facebook page). Santa Claus will also be at the home on several evenings during the two weeks before Christmas to greet children.

For something a bit further away

1 - Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo is a favorite and a tradition for our family.  There are 38 illuminated acres over 150 animated animal sculptures it runs from January 4th through the January 3rd. Hours 5:30 to 9pm.
2 - Blossoms of Light and Trail of Light are located at the Botanic Gardens in Denver and Chatfield Botanic Gardens.  Both are wonderful and offer different perks.  Blossoms of Light and Trail of Light both run from Thanksgiving through January 2nd. Hours are 5:30 - 9pm.
3 - Railway Trolley Light Tour is a wonderful trolley ride through Cheyenne Wyoming that follows some of the best city lights around.  The only catch is the tickets must be bought in advance. 
4- Greeley Grizwalds is a fantastic residence that exceeds even what Clark Grizwald's expectations were. A sight to be seen. Watch the Greeley Grizwald's home while listening to music turn your radio to 92.9.
5 - Living Lights at Butterfly Pavilion - Experience Butterfly Pavilion in a whole NEW light at night! Living Lights is a magical journey through our twinkling tropical rainforest and glowing gardens! Living Lights is occurring on 17 different nights from December 10 - January 10. Thursday-Sunday (excluding Dec. 24, 25, & 31) from 6:00pm-9:00pm
