What Are Your Dreams? Help Others Achieve Theirs.

Network For Good, Bikes For Tykes, and Larimer County Humane Society

November 23, 2015
Macaroni Kid is Proud to announce that we have partnered with three great charities to help improve our local community! I have chosen to work with three charities to give my readers a choice of who they want to support.

I have partnered with Larimer Count Humane Society to help fulfill the "wish list" to make the holiday marry for the animals. Animals love toys, comfort items like cat scratchers and towels, training items like soft dog treats and biscuits, 6' leashes nursing pillows, heated pads and other daily use items such as Toilet paper, Bleach, wash rags, lint rollers and many more items.  She the wish list for more items and details.

I have partnered with Realities For Children Bikes for Tykes!  The need more bikes!  Every December, the Members of Realities For Children present Bikes For Tykes to local children who have suffered abuse or neglect. The holiday season can be a sad time of year for these local kids, so we come to brighten their day bearing gifts of bikes, helmets and safety gear. See the webpage for more details.  Please drop bikes at Lee's Cyclery in Fort Collins and Loveland, Phoenix Cyclery, and Breakaway Cycles too.

I am proud to partner with United way "Network For Good".  It's a wonderful cause to help those who are living in poverty.  Did you know there are over 8000 children in Larimer county living in poverty.  We also have over 600 3rd graders who can't read at the 3rd grade level. Do you know the many faces of poverty? Do you know what it is like living from day to day not knowing if you will have somewhere to sleep, or something to eat. The face of poverty is also the person sitting next to you.  The kid that is not always on time because they don't have a car, or they live in their car.  They don't know if they will have something to eat that day. Maybe the only food they get is at school.  Maybe they won't have a warm house to sleep in because they can't afford heat. We have a modest goal of $1000.00 to reach and I would love to reach it with your help!

Please make a difference with me this year and support Larimer County Humane Society, Bikes for Tykes, and Network For Good.
Thank you,
