Please be aware that all government, state, and city businesses will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving and possibly the day after. Please double check the event you are interested in as there are some groups still getting back in touch with me. I currently have all marked but I also know that ALL Libraries and other companies will be closed.
Is your church or organization doing something special for Christmas? Maybe a dinner for the less fortunate? Maybe a Holiday Bazaar? Let me know about it! I am working on putting together resources for those in need as well as those who want to help those in need.
It's the time of year for family, food and tons of fun with little time to get it all in. Please use Macaroni Kid to help you determine the best events to patron. Be sure to check out the Facebook page for events. When I see a last minute event or a great bit of information on an event I have listed for the week, I put it on Facebook. I also put recipes, crafts, parent advice, teacher resources and so much more on Facebook. I'm always adding to Facebook and Twitter. Now I'm beginning to do instagram! I add to Pinterest all the time on the holidays! There is so much to see and to do and to post!
